Some of the six songs were recorded on 4-track back in 1997-1999 and other songs were recorded digitally around 2005-2009. Being that Sean is a master of the 4-track, it's hard to tell what songs were recorded when. Most of the songs are just Sean and a guitar, and if I had to pick a style I guess I would say Elliot Smith-ish. What else can you say about heart-felt lyrics over really good guitar playing? If you have any doubts, check out the video for "Whittier’s Alright for Fighting" on YouTube. Now go out and see one of Sean's bands this summer, so he can afford that cat he's always wanted.
